These terms govern your use of The Pips Project. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Who operates this service

The Pips Project is operated as a sole proprietorship based in India. Full operator details — legal name, place of business and grievance contact — are published on our Business Information page. You can reach us at support@thepipsproject.com. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator.

What this service is

The Pips Project is a trading journal and analytics tool. It records trades you have already taken, organises your notes about them, and computes statistics from that history.

Not financial advice

The Pips Project does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals. Every figure the application displays is a description of trades you already placed. Past performance does not predict future results. Trading forex and CFDs carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Decisions you make after reading anything in this application are yours alone, and you should consult a qualified, licensed financial adviser before acting.

Market data in the Watchlist

Prices and changes in the Watchlist come from a third party, are indicative, may be delayed, and are not tradable quotes or order-execution prices. This is covered in full by our Market Data & Risk Disclaimer.

AI-generated analysis

The review features produce automated analysis, not professional advice. Language models make mistakes: they can misread a chart, misattribute a cause, or state something confidently and be wrong. Treat every AI output as a prompt to check something yourself, never as a conclusion. We are not liable for trading decisions made on the basis of AI-generated text.

The AI Mentor (Pip) is an educational coaching tool, available on Pro. It discusses your own journal data, risk management, prop-firm rules and trading psychology. It does not and will not give buy, sell or hold recommendations, entry or exit levels, price targets, signals or market predictions, and nothing it says is investment advice. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Attempts to make the Mentor act outside this scope may be refused and logged. Mentor messages have monthly and daily limits shown in the app, and AI features may be paused temporarily to protect the service.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Provide accurate information, and keep your sign-in address secure.
• One account per person. Do not share access with others.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Auto-sync

MetaTrader auto-sync runs through a small agent you install on your own computer (or a MetaTrader plugin). It logs into your account on your machine and only reads your trades. The NinjaTrader 8 add-on likewise runs inside NinjaTrader on your computer. If you connect a broker by signing in with it (cTrader or Tradovate), our servers read your trades with the read-only access the broker grants, which you can revoke at any time. In every case we never place, change or close a trade on your behalf, and we never move money. We recommend using a read-only investor password where your broker offers one. You are responsible for confirming that automated access is permitted for your account; some brokers and prop firms prohibit it. We are not affiliated with MetaQuotes, any broker, or any prop firm, and are not responsible for their platforms, outages, or decisions about your account.

Acceptable use

• No scraping, automated bulk access, or reverse engineering.
• No attempts to reach data belonging to another user.
• No reselling or redistributing the service.

Subscriptions and billing

• The Free plan costs nothing and requires no payment details. It includes one trading account and 100 trades in total. The limit counts every trade logged, so deleting trades or accounts does not restore it, and it follows the same email inbox if an account is closed and opened again.
• Pro is ₹899.00 per month or ₹7,999.00 per year. Elite is ₹2,499.00 per month or ₹21,999.00 per year, in Indian rupees, with no additional taxes or fees charged at checkout. Outside India, Pro is $13 per month or $129 per year and Elite is $33 per month or $329 per year, in US dollars with taxes included. These are introductory prices; after the introductory period the regular prices shown on the pricing page apply to new subscriptions.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay in India. Outside India, Dodo Payments sells the subscription as merchant of record and handles tax. We never see or store your card details.
• Cancel at any time from Settings; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Monthly payments are not refunded for part of a month, and annual payments are non-refundable once made. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

Intellectual property and your data

The software, design and branding are ours. Your trading data is yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display it back to you as part of providing the service. Export it or delete it whenever you like.

Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it, and the Free plan carries no service level commitment. Features may change as the product develops.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. You may close yours at any time from Settings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of West Bengal, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Grievance redressal

In accordance with applicable Indian law we have a named Grievance Officer, identified on our Business Information page. For complaints about the service, your data, or content, write to support@thepipsproject.com (data-specific concerns: privacy@thepipsproject.com). We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
